ACCOUNTS


Harvey & Brockless is a complex business and it takes a large team of skilled accountants and analysts to keep us running like a well-oiled machine. We are always looking for enthusiastic young professionals to join our incredibly busy department. Credit controllers, reports and analytics, financial audits, supplier management and tenders, as well as company-wide administration, all form part of the roles that our Accounts team undertake.

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS


Our small team work closely with the Board of Directors, Sales, Technical and Purchasing teams to create and ensure smooth roll out of all elements required by the business to promote the products and services that we provide. This includes everything from managing our own events, working with magazines and sponsorships, branding projects, product brochures and packaging design, to creating content for social media, newsletters and our website, as well as creating and maintaining our corporate guidelines.

PURCHASING


Freeze dried fruits from New Zealand, Chilean chocolate, Moroccan capers, Jalapeños from Peru and Heritage Tomatoes from the Isle of Wight. Of course lots and lots of cheese and cured meats from across the Continent and right here in the UK. There’s not a corner of the globe left unexplored by our dedicated team of buyers. They are highly skilled in the art of delicately balancing our stock levels like no-one else we know!

TRANSPORT


We see our drivers and despatch as a valued extension of the Customer Support and Sales teams. Literally on the front line of customer service, they are imperative to us maintaining our exceptional level of service to our customers – and they get very attached to their drivers and deliveries. We are always looking to expand our network and reach and have a growing fleet. If you are smart, polite, efficient and a considerable driver on the road, then this is the right place for you.

CUSTOMER SERVICE


We have a dedicated team of telesales and customer support professionals across our office in the UK, who act as an extension to our Sales team – they have had considerable training to ensure widespread knowledge of our products - think of them as telephone account managers. From order to delivery, these teams are constantly on hand to ensure that Harvey & Brockless deliver on their commitment to provide exceptional service at all times.

NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT (NPD)


Our dynamic NPD team work closely with our commercial customers to predict trends, innovate, develop and launch new products to market. They bounce between our Development Kitchen at Battersea HQ, our production facility in Evesham and of course our customers.

SALES


Our Sales team are an incredibly enthusiastic, eclectic mix of people from all walks of life. They all have one thing in common – they love food! Assisting customers with samples, training and advice about our range and helping with menu selections. No cheese or antipasti board is too tough a challenge for them! We have customers in a variety of sectors and our account managers are experts in their fields - Commercial, National, Stadia and Events, Independent, Travel, Wholesale and Export.

WAREHOUSE


We have over 4,000 product SKU’s, which means our warehouse staff need to be on the ball. Receiving goods in, managing stock locations, picking and despatching goods requires attention to detail at every stage. We have two main warehouse hubs in Worcester and London where goods come in and are stored, picked and despatched out. We have three smaller distribution hubs that receive daily deliveries from our Worcester depot and despatch out to their local areas from those satellite locations in Devon, Scotland and Manchester.

HUMAN RESOURCES(HR)


From drivers, to warehouse operators to account managers and production staff, our HR department are fully versed in all manner of recruitment to bring the very best to our highly skilled workforce. Not just about recruitment, HR are also on hand to ensure that every one of our staff are receiving the proper support and development to help them perform at their best in whatever role they undertake at Harvey & Brockless.

PRODUCTION

 

We have two main production sites in the business. Both are AA BRC accredited - which means we maintain the highest industry standards. Our state-of-the-art cheese portioning and cured meat slicing facility is based in our Battersea HQ and in Evesham is our extensive, purpose-built production facility where we make our own brand sauces, dips, dressings and olive mixes.

TECHNICAL


Our skilled technical team are constantly on the hop, cross referencing, testing and checking that we maintain the very high standards required for our excellent AA BRC Accreditation. They are based at our Evesham and Battersea sites and oversee everything from new product set ups to labelling, nutritional information and all manner of health and safety with regards to food production, management and distribution. They are our Gatekeepers for Food Safety.

IT & TECHNICAL SUPPRORT


We have an internal IT team that oversee our day to day needs, from buying in new computers, to installing software and helping to troubleshoot with conferencing and all manner of data and file management. As we are a complex business, we have a complex database and our IT team work closely with external service providers to maintain our systems and to ensure that we continue to operate like a well-oiled machine 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
